  • The highly accurate, non-destructive UT343A coating thickness gauge is a reliable tool for professional use in quality control, defect inspection in the automotive industry, aviation, metalworking, and scientific research.
  • The instrument features a combined sensor that enables measurements on ferrous (iron-containing) substrates using electromagnetic induction in Fe mode, as well as on non-ferrous metals such as aluminum or copper using the eddy current method in NFe mode.
  • The device also automatically detects the substrate material.
  • The gauge offers a wide measurement range from 0 to 1750 μm with a high resolution of 0.1 μm and an accuracy of ±(3 % of the reading + 1 μm).
  • During use you will appreciate both single-shot and continuous measurement modes with a fast refresh rate of 0.5 seconds, statistical functions to display maximum, minimum or average values, and integrated memory to store up to 199 groups of measurements.
  • Convenient operation is supported by an innovative EBTN display with automatic and manual readout rotation, automatic unit conversion, a disableable buzzer and a practical alert function for exceeding user-adjustable limits.
  • The compact unit weighing just 111 g is designed for a secure grip, with a probe contact force of 0.3 to 1.5 N and guaranteed resistance to drops from a height of 1 meter.
  • Power is supplied by two AAA batteries (included) with an automatic shut-off after 5 minutes of inactivity to conserve energy.
