Sencor is a brand of several pre-war companies that invested a lot of money in the electronics industry.

When Japan was dealing with the question of how to start a war-ravaged economy, and one of the ways was a state-sponsored purchase of know-how from the US and Europe, in which the Japanese invested more than billion dollars.

Japanese shining star - electronics. New companies began to join the pre-war companies (Panasonic, Hitachi, Sharp) - Sony, Akai, Sanyo, Aiwa and in 1969 also SENCOR.

And it was the end of the 1960s, a period of ferment and revolutionary change around the world, that marked a turning point for Japan and its electronics companies. Imported technologies weren't enough, there was a slowdown and the task of the day was the revolutionary start of its own development and research, the discovery of new technologies, new products. The Japanese technological wonder could begin and it continues to this day.
