  Finding the right dimmer for LED lights is not always an easy task. It can also get quite expensive and you can also get lost in the technical details. EGLO has spotted these problems and has come up with a customized, simple solution. Their step-dimming lights can be dimmed by your current switch that you have on the wall. The dimming technology is hidden right in the bulb, saving you the otherwise exhausting task of picking the right dimmer switch.

  
  

  • How to use it?

  By repeatedly pressing (on and off) your switch, you can adjust the light to the desired intensity. You can choose between three levels: 1x 100%, 2x 50% or 3x 25%. If the light is off and you turn it back on within three seconds, it will automatically switch to the next intensity level. If the light stays off for more than three seconds, then the 100% level will be the first choice the next time you turn it on. So you won't have to switch to the basic option when you turn the light on the next day, for example.

  No more need for expensive dimmers - so you can save a lot of money on the cost of the required LED dimmer. You can retrofit your existing luminaires with LED step-dimming bulbs - you will no longer have to deal with rewiring and adjusting the dimmer. Dimming is also possible with several switches. Table, floor, and wall lamps without a dimmer can be redesigned easily without major engineering solutions thanks to step dimming technology - of course only if they have an integrated switch (on the body, cable, in house, or foot switch).
