A few years ago, the need for a lot of us to devote time instead of traditional offices to working from home increased significantly. Whether you're a freelancer, entrepreneur, or home office employee, proper lighting and equipment for the work corner are key elements for efficient and comfortable work. In this article, following the expansion of our offer, we will focus on the importance of high-quality lighting for workspaces in your home, introduce different types of lights, and offer helpful tips on how to select the best products from our offer for your home office. From the floor to the ceiling.

Office lighting

When selecting office lighting, it is important to understand that it matters. This is not only reflected in the actual performance of work duties but also in the quality of rest that follows right after. A correctly selected light will not only improve concentration but also reduce eye fatigue. And in the following lines, we will advise you on selecting the right light for your workspace.

Central ceiling light

As with most rooms, the basis of everything is a ceiling light that illuminates the entire room and prevents shadows from tiring our eyes while working. Among the advantages of ceiling lights are mainly their long lifespan and low energy consumption. In our e-shop, you can choose from two basic categories: chandeliers on a string and ceiling panels. When it comes to functionality they're not that different. So you should choose according to the height of the ceiling and the required light intensity. For both chandeliers on a string and ceiling panels, their design or color differentiates them from the rest of the products in the wide offer. You can mainly choose from white, silver and black lights. When it comes to the light color, look especially for white shades of lighting, whether daylight or neutral.

Lamp

Only a central light is not enough. Especially after work at night hours, or in bad weather when it is gloomy, your closest helper in overcoming work duties will be a small lamp. A suitable table lamp has a non-translucent lampshade and a light source that is not sticking out. To avoid glare from the lamp, place the edge above the level of your eyes. The ideal height of incidence of the lamp's light source is 40 to 50 centimeters above the table level, at an angle of 60 to 70 degrees. For a simple and quick adjustment to activities, choose a lamp that you can position, and a welcomed function is also the ability to switch the light intensity. There is also a left and right hand rule: a left-hander should have a lamp placed on the right side of the table and a right-hander on the left side of the table. In the category of table lamps, you will find hundreds of products among which you will definitely find the one for you. We can also recommend the design dimmable table lamp BRILAGI, with which you can charge your phone using the USB connector.

Smart lighting

When selecting office lights, you should also take a look at the wide range of smart lighting. There, you will find many lighting variants such as LED strips that will make your work on the PC more pleasant. Smart lighting will significantly increase your comfort and options. It will allow you to select the light color or light intensity depending on your needs. Or you can also make your work easier with other "gadgets“ that we offer. That includes accessories such as remote control or easy apps for your phone. You can start with the office and then create a whole smart household.

Office furniture

The category of office desks has also been expanded. The selection is not only limited to classic ones, you can take a look at foldable and adjustable desks, desks with shelves, or those with adjustable height. A quality office chair belongs to a quality office desk. We, of course, have them in our offer too.

More accessories

Have you already selected all the lights and the perfect desk and chair for your office? But do you still have a feeling that something is missing? Then take a look at air conditioning, which you will appreciate during the hot summer months, or it will warm you up during the cold months. If you are looking for more intensive cooling, then grab one of the hundreds of fans from our e-shop. For the winter months, or for people that are sensitive to the cold, we recommend taking a look at our selection of heaters and radiators. Also look at the offer that includes other work accessories, where you will find many products such as headphones, microphones, chargers, ergonomic mice, or webcams. So everything you need for your problem-free online meetings.

One last TIP: children's desk

Adults are not the only ones who need their peace of mind while working on something. So think about your children and look at the section of office desks and get them their own. We recommend, for example, the multipurpose work table with shelves RANI, where your children will fit all their school supplies and PC but also books and decorations.
