  • PWM solar regulators connect the solar panels directly to the battery to be charged and after reaching a certain battery terminal voltage, the charging is regulated by pulse current limitation.
  • They are therefore suitable for panels with the same system voltage as the battery voltage, otherwise, losses occur where part of the potential power is lost due to inappropriate V-A characteristics of the panel.
  • More sophisticated regulators allow adjustment of operating parameters or the type of battery being charged, simple regulators have parameters set fixed for the most commonly used lead acid batteries.
  • The Win300 regulator belongs to the group of PWM solar regulators, allowing setting the type of battery to be charged (Pb AGM, Pb GEL, Pb WET, Pb Calcium, LiFePO4, Li-Ion, LTO).
  • This also determines the relevant operating parameters.
  • The Win300-NBT is also equipped with Bluetooth technology for wireless setup from a mobile phone.
  • Primarily, these regulators are designed for operation in mobile devices such as caravans or boats.
