The most practical is a wall light
In the case of building a new house but also in the reconstruction of older ones, the living room is usually connected to the terrace via a large glass door. It is a practical and convenient solution. But this certainly does not mean that only light from the interior will suffice for outdoor seating. Especially if you have a larger terrace. We recommend placing one or two
wall lights on the wall at the entrance to the terrace. It is good to harmonize their appearance with the surroundings and the garden.
Use a practical sensor
Of course, the offer of
outdoor lights for the terrace is abundant in the
shape of a rectangle, semicircle, and cylinder. They tend to have a grid over them for a more interesting look. These modern-looking lights are also designed for the facade to the entrance to the house, so you can then have the outdoor lighting nicely harmonized. Due to the increasing pressure to save electricity, LED lights are increasingly being produced and solar lights are also being added. For more expensive products, a sensor is included, which automatically turns the light on and off again after a while. You will appreciate it, for example, if you bring refreshments to the terrace and do not have a free hand.
LED strips and headlights for the effect
If you want to revive the lighting of the terrace, we can recommend
waterproof LED strips glued, for example, on the edges of the terrace, and the
entrance lights are also very effective. These are small spotlights covered with durable glass, which is recessed into the floor. They can be stepped on and some can be even driven on, so they are intended for access roads to garages.
The pleasant atmosphere on the terrace is evoked by the various
table and floor lamps, especially in recent years
solar lamps are popular. For history lovers, we have
paraffin lamps.
