The excellent quality is guaranteed by the so-called welded Damascus, which is created by forging steel at the welding temperature.
A knife produced in that way gets the best out of the used types of steel and ensures hardness and resistance to wear and tear. Traditionally, it is a combination of hard steel with a high carbon content and ductile steel.
